What apps in my E71?

During the first 3 weeks I have my E71, i try download and installed lots of useful (and some meaningless) applications. Few days back I did a hard reset (*#7370#), and now what left are google search, google map, youtube and gmail, plus skyfire and three themes. Not to mention Garmin Mobile XT which is installed in the memory card. Advance Call Manager, Sport Tracker and World Mate - that comes preinstalled are now gone. I'm not using it anyway - so not going to miss them. Also I did not reinstall Nokia Messaging, emoze and seven as rarely used those for email purpose. I still prefer to check my Gmail using my computer rather than on phone's tiny screen. The fact that I am not a businessman that have to constantly connected to email while on the go also one of the reason. Having said that, its still far away before Nokia can catch up with RIM's Blackberry Push Email solution.

Celcom's APN

APN stands for "Access Point Name". The APN is used by phone to connect to the internet. Usually for newer phone it can retrieve the APN information automatically over the air, or such as in E71, you can use the settings wizard to get your carrier APNs. From main menu go to Tools>Setting Wizard and follow the instructions.
Anyway just FYI, celcom is using 3 different APNs depends on your SIM/USIM type. For non 3G prepaid, the APN is celcom. For 3G prepaid or 3G postpaid always use celcom3g. For non 3G postpaid, wap.celcom.net.my is for wap (or celcom.net.my for mobile internet) and mms.celcom.net.my for MMS.
In the next post I'll show you how to DIY wap and mms settings on your phone.
